When is TOTV going to fix the Hide Classifieds button?

Yes, I am having the same problem, it is no longer 'sticky', you need to hit it every time you login or hit the new posts button. It does get to be annoying, since you also need to wait 30 seconds, or you get the message.

Hmm. I don't get a delay when I click Hide. The site refreshes and they are gone. I wish they would fix it so that your choice would be remembered and if you wanted the ads back, they button would allow it. Now it just stays on Hide.

I really am unhappy about this problem. I have no interest in Items for Sale".

I tried that. It doesn't work for me. I still get the classifieds no matter how many times I click hide.

Personally I have no interest in book reviews, restaurant reviews, how many gallons of blood someone donated, or bad driving in The Villages. You take the good with the bad, and just don't open them. It's a free site, so you get what you pay for.

Classifieds are different. There are pages of them! I quit after a couple of pages. It's not worth the trouble.

seems like everytime I read a posting and come back to the list I have to hide the classifieds, and wait up to 30 seconds to do that. Annoying enough that I spend about a quarter of the time actually reading other postings. Less time on the site means less time with the advertising popping up also.

Don't bother. It doesn't work anyway.

On my browser, Mozilla Firefox, there's a big RED button on the main page below the ad space, alongside another big red button "Show Coupons." When I open a thread then I see the button like your arrow is pointing to.
