What a beautiful cat. Everyday is Cat Day, they do have the puurfect life if they are in a loving home. I love to watch my cat sleep, she really gets comfortable ANYWHERE and EVERYWHERE.

Also agree -- Chi-Town you have a beautiful cat. Yes, every day is cat day at my house. Glad my cat Molly lets me live with her. Every weekday morning when I leave for work I say to Molly, "Have a good cat day!"

I adopted Molly in June, 2013 a few months after my first cat, Magic, went to the Rainbow Bridge. Molly was 10 then, and now she is 13. She loves to eat and sleep (but don't most cats LOL).

Adopting an older cat has been a very good experience, and I would do it again. It's hard to believe the parents of Molly's first owner (who was in college when I adopted her) were thinking about having Molly put to sleep as they had moved to a place that had a two pet limit, and they had already had 2 dogs. Luckily Molly found her way to a foster home, and then to my home. We've had a few ups and downs in the past three years, but I hope Molly is happy in my quiet home.

So consider an older pet if you are thinking about adopting a cat or dog!

Villager Joyce, what a beautiful cat. My first cat, Magic, was black. Magic was very outgoing -- loved when company came over. If a service tech./repair person came over to my house, Magic would stand right next to the tech to "inspect" the work being done LOL.

This us our third black cat. Original baby was just shy of 21 when we lost her, replacement baby was almost 18 and new baby is 6. She is a also born supervisor. She goes from window to window to supervise our yard people and the neighbors yard people.

I always hated cats until I got one for my 6 year old daughter. That cat became my best friend. When my wife & I divorced, I moved out. The cat wouldn't leave the house when the family sold the house and left. I think she was waiting for me to come back. I am still sad to this day thinking that.

Our rescues are a joy.
It makes us feel good that over the years we've saved a number of lives and they all have brought a smile to our face.
