Landscaping Co. MJM- Alert
 

Has anyone used the landscaping company called " MJM "?
Myself and several neighbors have given them cash deposits and have not heard back from them. They do respond to phone calls and do not show up when they say they will. It's been one month and still no landscaping. We're very concerned that we've been ripped off. Advice??

sounds like you have been ripped off. Any paperwork with the handover of the cash to verify what they were going to do and when.

Contact Seniors against crime (all of you) and register complaints. Then next time, NO up front deposits........

Yes, I do have a signed estimate receipt.

Thank you so much for alerting us! We are new in the Pine Hills neighborhood and this guy knocked on our door earlier this week. Thankfully, we didn't sign anything or give him any money!

Makes one wonder how some folks do their due diligence before signing on with some of these companies.

Contact Seniors Against Crime (located in Brownwood next to the theater). They may not be able to recover your money, but they may be able to get local law enforcement involved. There is one particular landscape contractor that used "MJM" as their company name and the owner has multiple complaints against him and has actually been arrested for his unethical business practices. I'm so sorry this happened to you.
