Low Water Pressure
 

My husband and I will be coming to visit TV next week, and possibly purchase a home. We are wondering with some many people living in TV is there any problems with low water pressure in any of the areas? Any villages we should avoid? Thanks for any info

The Villages has about 70,000 people. Are you concerned that every city over 70K across the US has low water pressure? I am not sure I follow your issue. This "city" was built over the past 20 years. NY, Chicago, Boston, etc were built over the past 200 years. Do they have water pressure issues? Today the infrastructure is sized for the build out planned, not as almost every other city across the world has done and build as you go. My guess would be the problem will hit a lot of other places before here.

You answered "yes" to Dancer64's question. Were you referring to water pressure or other issues?

HB & M: I was leaving that comment in answer to Dancer's question asking if there were any Villages to avoid because of low water pressure. If you noticed l2ride's persnickety answer, that is why I named l2's Villages (See his location info). I guess you missed the humor. I put a smiley face !!

Actually...some people think their water pressure is too high! However, all Villages are required to have a certain pressure (I believe 55-65) but they can't do much about higher pressure....

I do know that if there is a LOW pressure issue the water company will respond ASP as that is a sign of other problems. They want the pressure to remain at the norm....SO if there is a low pressure issue you should call the water department...

AGAIN...they can't do anything about higher pressure but can fix low pressures....which is a good thing IMO!!!


PS....no matter what the humor was meant to be....poincienna and sunset point are beautiful...have some wonderful friends living there!! I would imagine they would let us (TOTV) know if there was an issue with low water pressure!!

Thanks so much for your info on water pressure. In the past, I have run into areas in NY where I looked at homes in developments on a hill and low pressure. Also, you answered my next question as we are coming in this Thurs. for our Lifestyle Preview Plan, and I have my eye on a very nice home in Poincienna. Thanks again.

Our home in upstate NY was in an exclusive neighborhood on a hill....private builder...with HOA fees etc....it had the most beautiful shower in the world....with the WORST water pressure!! They would not/could not do anything...things are a lot different here!! :pepper2:

Don't know what the issue is about water pressure, if it is a problem one can always take a bath down at Spanish Springs.....lotsa water pressure there. LOL.

TVQueen, I don't think that subtle humour works on TOTV; especially before we have our morning coffee. :mornincoffee: But I admire your ingenuity.
