Classifieds not working again
 

Why is TOTV classifieds down again? It seems to have a LOT of problems lately. Maybe we need a new system or something.

I can't post in classifieds. Keeps on telling me to log in when I am already logged in. help!

This is a constant problem that needs to be corrected. One minute it works and the next minute the post and edit ad buttons are gone. I have sent several messages to the administrator and never receive a reply about the issue.

Is there a way to not get classified on the main page when you log in ? Takes too much time to sort thru them to get to the important items

The problem is a new system. The admin made software updates a couple of weeks ago and everyday has been a new adventure. Have you noticed on the main board all these political threads now appear and everyone is started by someone name 'Guest'. I remember an old supervisor once told me, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it.'

There is a maroon colored button at the top 'hide classifieds', hit that button and it will also get rid of the political threads. However, it doesn't last, as soon as you read a thread and then return, those will return as well.

Well done TOTV. Now the hide classified button doesn't work and I can't get rid of this political bull****.

That means you are subscribed to the political forum. Go to Usercp and Group Memberships to see about unsubscribing to the political section. The political threads should disappear. My Usercp/Group Membership shows I've not joined political so no political threads show up when I go to New Posts.

Thanks for the advice. Did what you said and determined I'm not subscribed. Any other ideas on how to get rid of all this crap?

All of a sudden I am now seeing the political threads. Yuk! Not subscribed never have been.
The total number of TOTV clicks has to be going down with the problems of classified and political. How will advertisers respond?
