Comments on Ocala Eye ?
 

My wife needs cataract surgery...she was sent to OCALA EYE. Have any experience ? Thank You

My doctor there is Dr. Pollock (sp?). He is outstanding. This practice has an excellent reputation. Good luck.

We go there and have been happy. I had cataract surgery two years ago with Dr. El Mallah. He's a specialist with glaucoma and is highly rated. I don't have glaucoma....yet but they're keeping watch over my pressures.

We go to Dr. Armstrong at Ocala Eye and are very satisfied. I don't have cataracts, but I do have retina issues and I am very happy with the treatment I receive.

The other side

I had an eye issue and was referred to Ocala eye. I went and everything was kind of OK. I had to go back in 6 months to verify success. I had an appointment at 3:30. I got there and 3:15 and was taken directly in for exam and eyes were dilated. I was taken to another waiting room to wait for the doctor. At 4:15 minutes I got up and asked the front desk if I was going to get in soon. They said yes that I was next. At 4:50 I checked again. At 5:30 I got up and left and never did see a doctor. I will never go back.

I went to Lake eye and was amazed at how quickly their visit went. In and out in about 35 minutes. And the best exam I have ever had.

I understand that doctors get backed up and I really try to make my appointments early in the day. But a 2 hour wait with dilated eyes is no way to treat a patient. My time is just as important to me as theirs is to them.

I see Dr. Ahmed at Ocala Eye and have been very satisfied.

Thank you for your feedback..really appreciate the honest comments.

I had my annual app't last week...I was in and out within about an hour with everything. That said though...back when I 1st was being seen there I spent a very long afternoon with the app't. It was over 3 hrs...much too long...I think I may have complained (they send an online "how was your experience) and it's never happened for me again.
