what is there to pack? sell/donate your winter clothes(OK, keep a few for emergency trips up north). furniture, only bring heirlooms or sentimental pieces, and get rid of the rest. only bring the matching dinnerware/flatware/pots and pans. sheets/comforters/pillowcases/quilts...unless the quilts are made by the Amish....get new to match your new home.
and tschockes.....you know that word....nick-nacks....or is it knick-knacks? get rid of them...yard sale!
minimize, simplify, lighten the load.
and get down here soon.
