As Trump goes about filling his Cabinet and other senior officer positions, here is a theorem I believe will prove useful to keep in mind:

Axelrod: Trump’s picks a ‘monster’s ball’ | TheHill

The louder the liberals squeal, the better the pick.

It means Trump is putting the right people into office to drain the swamp

Sit back and enjoy .... maybe have some popcorn as well

His appointments thus far will surely make hearings on those that require congressional approval interesting and most have serious "back stories". Not that the GOP cannot move them through but in doing so, he could lose some GOP support and make things public that will not endear his selections to the public,

Gen Flynn will be maybe the most interesting as he has quite a "back story"

My observation over the years is that solving a problem is not always on the top of the list for elected officials. If the problem is solved the affected people may not vote for them in the future. Hopefully we get a set of officials that want to solve the problem and not care about a political career.

General Flynn is already a done deal. He needs no one else's approval. And what makes it extra great is the fact that Obama fired him for not agreeing with him.

Rep Pompeo as the CIA Director is a BRILLIANT choice ...

- 1st in his class at West Point

-- served as armored cavalry officer active duty

- Harvard Law Review editor

- 3 Term congressman

- private businessman

-- Tea Party 2010

Outstanding appointment President-elect Trump :)

You are correct....my error for sure.

He still has quite a back story, and the media will cover it and be called liars for publishing it, but he was fired in 2014 and part of the dismissal if I recall correctly had to do with his handling of classified material along with a chaotic style

The main reason he was fired is because he was critical of Obama allowing ISIS to form and conquer ... and just sitting there passively.

Uh oh, not the old Harvard Law Review editor thingy. We have seen how that has worked out with Obama. Hope this is not a factor that keeps him from being confirmed. :ohdear:

Some here do not understand the concept of putting people in that are qualified to do the job of the position.

VS Obama's picks that have a hard time finding their backside with a map!
