Trumps daughter his right hand woman

Can anyone tell me why Trump would have his daughter sit in on his first meeting with a Head of State from Japan.

This might be a bold statement, but Trump will make ALL decisions while in the WH based on what might benefit his family business.

I await, if ever, to see his tax returns and his character and morals tell me, that his family running his business will be in on anything that will benefit Trump, Inc

Not "bold" just spectacularly wrong, as usual

President of the United States personal debt to foreign nations and relationships that may compromise his decisions.....

They seem to be something that should have been addressed. BUT, without that being addressed we can just wonder why the family is si deeply involved.

"President-elect Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka sat in on his first face-to-face meeting with a foreign leader, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, according to a photo of the impromptu Trump Tower summit released by the Japanese government.

Her inclusion comes as Trump faces questions about how he plans to provide assurances that his vast business empire will be walled off from his official duties in the White House. Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, along with Trump's adult sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, played major roles in his campaign and have all been named to the executive committee of his transition team."

Ivanka Trump sits in on meeting with Japanese prime minister - POLITICO

"After receiving backlash for having his daughter Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, at a private meeting between him and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, President-elect Donald Trump is said to be making some changes.

A source close to the 70-year-old said that while Thursday’s meeting “was informal” and that Trump “has always encouraged Ivanka and his kids to attend meetings with him,” that would be changing moving forward.

“[The President-elect and his family] need to adjust to the new realities and they will,” the insider explained."

Backlash Over Ivanka Trump's Meeting with Japanese Leader as Source Says Trumps Are ‘Adjusting to New Realities'

Seems he may be understanding how stupid this was and might be changing a bit.

Those who abhor the media can thank them for setting this straight.......this meeting pic has set off a firestorm.

Wasn't Robert Kennedy appointed AG by JFK? Did they change the rules since then?

Just wondering what the problem is by having his daughter in the room when he met with the Prime Minister. Obama never cared about any rules, so why has he been given a pass for the past 8 years, or should I not be asking?

Yes, the current 'nepotism' law was passed in 1967, four years after JFK died.

Trump also would not allow the press to cover this meeting, which accounts for the only photo being one supplied by the Japanese.

Trump's children and son-in-law clearly know that he is in way over his head and have vowed that one of them will be with him at all times.

STOP ?

Stop ? I do not recall any such backlash on the racist, anti semitic personal attacks on this forum.

Are you requiring those who know something about Trump to be silenced ?

And do not go to Clinton or the "libtard" remarks. I am and always will be a conservative Republican......

I never posted anything about Trump policies (those we knew of) and never posted anything that was pro Clinton....

I simply am aware that our President is devoid of any traits that might even be construed as positive. I am also aware that until I see a tax return, I do not and will not trust anything he does with foreign countries. There was and is a reason for this coverup and secrecy.

I might suggest you wave a stop sign at others who simply spout out things with no facts, no understanding and frankly a lack of caring.

But if you say STOP....gee.....bye

Rockyrd 11-18-2016 01:42 PM

sorry for still being here.....my STOP is coming....

But, his business relationships in the rest of the world have a BIG influence on my countries future as he is the President, thus I want to know and assume your lack of caring means the opposite

Let me ask you this question, seriously. Is there really someone that gives a sh*t that he had his daughter in a meeting with the PM? And you do know that he is NOT yet the president, right? And if there is someone that cares, exactly for what reason does this concern them?

Other than you saying that he is in over his head, do you have any proof of that statement or is this just your biased opinion? You know I have said the same thing about Obama for several years after he was elected, and so have many others, but that did not seem to matter to Obama or anyone that voted for him. Of course, in my case I/we were right. And once Trump erases all of Obama's mistakes, no one will even know Obama existed.
