Platelet Donation 11-17-2016. One Blood.
 

Charli and Mary were having some fun with me when I donated on Thursday, November 17, 2016.

I wonder if they have heard what I posted lately on TOTV as well as what I have been putting on Facebook of late.

They did seem to be having a fun and kind of "crazy" time of it.

I have only one more donation in 2016 because of the 24 donations in a year period rule but I should be able to go back to every two weeks after the second week of January 2017 or thereabouts.


I am just about at 14 gallons now just at One Blood. That does not count the various donations at Life South, Florida Blood Services or others outside of Florida.

I was scheduled to donate platelets today, which would have brought me to 13 gallons. Yesterday I got a call cancelling my donation because I had reached my limit. I don't donate again until Dec 14. Oh well, I tried.

I have reached my limit too. Have to wait until the end of December 2016 to donate platelets again. I hope they have some neat Christmas/Holidays goodies.

I am just shy of 14 gallons now but I did manage to get a 14 gallon sticker mainly because I misheard one of the workers and thought I had actually reached 14 gallons.

Some of the One Blood workers keep making "crazy" jokes around me. I suppose my Facebook posts as well as some of these on TOTV are getting some traction especially from all the contacts I have made over the past 40 years or so. I get the same stuff at the Publix I frequent as well as some other places.
