Rain

For all you out of towners, it has rained steadily since early Sunday evening. I do not know the total rainfall at this hour but I'm sure someone does and will contribute to this topic. When one see's 149 folks online in TOTV, you can be assured it's raining and we all have cabin fever.
I won't complain too loudly for it was very much needed.
Think I'll sharpen the blades on the mower:crap2:

In my nearly four and a half years here, this is the only time that I can recall when we've had nearly constant rain for what is now approaching 48 hours! Sometimes it's heavy, sometimes it's light, and sometimes it isn't raining at all. But, the bottom line says, we've had a whale of a lot of rain, and right when that's exactly how much we needed.

I'm sure the golfers and other sports enthusiasts will become grumpy very soon. To them, I say, "Hang in there. This, too, shall pass!"

Weather forecast is for Rain solid for the next ten days in TV.

Although I am not in TV permanently yet, I am glad to hear about the much needed rain. Hopefully, this is the beginning of the end for the drought. Here in Oklahoma, we have had 22 (yep that's twenty-two) consecutive days of rain. Naturally, we're way above normal for the year. Of course, sping rain in Oklahoma also means tornados and violent thunder storms. I really can't wait to get to a place that thinks 2 days of rain is a lot. I'm also tired of our TV home caretaker telling me how dry everything is in TV. Hope to see lots of green (especially on the golf courses) when we visit next month.

Im really glad your getting the much needed rain. Besides all your happy plants and trees I was getting worried about the ducks and birds on all the ponds. I think they were probably worried too!;)
