Obama backing away from his usual relentless being on camera daily?

It is noteable, and a relief as well, that Obama has been conspicuously absent the usual daily commentary on anything that would promote him or his agenda.

Clinton gone.
Obama fading!

The makings of a very Merry Christmas!

The president gave a lengthy interview last night to Rolling Stone.

And yet his job approval numbers continue to go up, recently at 57%, just one tick below his all-time high of 58% in 2009. The only recent president with higher numbers is Bill Clinton at 65%.

Hopefully, when Trump has hot spots all over the world to deal with, budgets to write, a health care bill to write to replace the ACA, privatize Medicare and the VA, he will be too busy to talk.

When did Obama's approval rating go up to 90% or even close? Bush W. had over 90%. Everyone is approving of Obie because they are so happy to see him leaving, and everyone knows that the polls are fixed by the liberal media. The election proved that. There was no way that Trump could win..................:a20:

Approval numbers are in the same category as the elections odds makers and pollsters forecasts credibility.

I suppose the conservative media (and some really are fair and balanced)always get things right. The polls did get the popular vote correct. State by State not so much but likely within the margin of error. BTY, I heard many so called liberal commentators say that the election was too close to call. And it was.

90%, are you serious. I see about as serious as Trump building a wall and having Mexico pay. Laughable.

Now that Santa got you what you wished for. Let's see how Merry you are next Christmas. One should be careful what they wish for.

The polls are skewed if not purposefully but by sheer laziness. The polling companies are located in cities, they take their polls in those same cities, they're too lazy to fly out to Podunk Kansas to sample a different set of Americans. So the polls come out leaning liberal because liberals gravitate towards the cities where everything is done for you. If you have money, you don't have to do anything for yourself, someone will take care of everything. It forms a different attitude than people who must physically fend for themselves in many areas.

The President doesn't do those things himself, he delegates. President meet with people, play golf, have dinner, are entertained. It's elected royalty... They're a figurehead.

Trump accomplishments by comparison to Obama will be of significance. And I do not want to diminish Trump's accomplishments by adding to the Obama comment...it wouldn't take much!!!

What exactly do approval ratings mean? They are essentially subjective. Same with likability or happiness quotient

I approve of the job President------is doing. Oh can you offer a little more detail? Specifically in what area are you pleased and why ? Well I just like him. OOOH

Personal Best Regards:

You keep forgetting that the 90% was for a very short period (a couple of weeks?)...right after we experienced the worst attack since Pearl Harbor.

Then Bush proceeded to pizz it all away and slink out of office....with a 22% approval rating.

Obama's will be almost triple that. :boom: :boom:

billethkid 12-01-2016 07:27 PM

Yeah and whoever gets whatever rating acts like they really care about this kinda crap.

Meaningless fodder for meaningless pi$$ing contests.

And the point is that Bush had higher ratings, and none of it even matters. Hillary was pushing Obama's agenda and she didn't get elected. The polls also show that the country did not believe that they were moving in the right direction, which has started to change since Trump has been elected.

Obama failed in almost every part of his employment requirements, and has only achieved popularity due to his late night TV appearances. Everyone thinks he is a good speaker, but everyone also knows that he is a failure. A failure that wins the popularity contest. Wow, that should look good on his resume'.

Hillary failed, therefore Obama failed and now they have let their puppet master Soros down. I wonder how long it will be before any of them suddenly and mysteriously leave this world. Soros does not like failure. Not that I would miss any of them. Anyone want to bet that Hillary's health doesn't take a sudden turn for the worst? Bill already has one foot on death's doorstep.
