For those of us who don't yet live in TV, what is the Mix and why was Dicky in it? :jester:

I can't access the Mix here in Canada. Can someone post a link to DickY's story or picture or police report? ;)

I always wondered how the Villager of the Day was picked. Villages07 (who knows everything) would know that. She had that honour!

The mix is a supplement to the Daily Sun, published on Saturday; one for N of 466, one for S (arrrghhh, don't understand why they have to be separate); it's kind of an 'around the neighborhoods' publication with lots of pictures, rehash of events, etc. all feed good stuff.

In one segment they ask a bunch of people a question...this is where our friend DickY appeared. They asked what you would want to come back as in the next life. DickY answered.... "as a dog" .... since we know what a good life his Katrina lives!!! One guy did answer that he wanted to be a love bug.... hmmmm, short life span but very, very happy.

Villager of the Day is a random thing....reporter walks up to you at the square or an event and asks if you want to be "it" (just like tag); you fill out a form, he takes a picture, and voila, instant celebrity. Oh yeah, and a free trip to Hawaii too (just kidding).

The person who asked the question and took the picture just happens to be my across the street neighbor who is a Daily Sun journalist. Of course I ment a Villagers dog. http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/ti...smiley-037.gif

I knew him before he became rich & famous. He even took me on a personal golf cart tour of TV. The guy is super!!!!!!
