Christmas Tree Story
Why do I do this to myself? (It’s not what you think). Every year I put up a Christmas tree. Then I spend 2 weeks and $200 on putting up last year’s lights. After the first week, I give up and buy new lights that aren’t “pre-tangled”, but very costly. So for the next week I work very carefully to put the new lights on without any damage. Finally got done tonight. Then I turned them on. The whole room lit up like one of those old flashbulbs that could blind you if you looked at it while saying “cheese”. It seems I forgot that last year I bought a pre-lit tree. Doh! Now I got about 900 lights on the tree. I’m sure it’ll go on fire. (It did). Better get some marshmallows. (I didn’t). Doh!
