Does anyone have an update on what is happening with the new Aldi's due to be built in TV? Would appreciate knowing if it is happening and where it is happening. Thanks ...............

466A--Trailwinds--not golf cart accessible

I wish they would make Trailwinds golf cart accessible!

It is planned for the Trailwinds Village on 466A near Winn Dixie completion in 2017

Who is "they"? Trailwinds is not part of the The Villages. Maybe you could call "they" and suggest it.

Just happy its coming. Could care less if it is golf cart accessible or not. Bring it on.

Wildwood turned down The Villages plan to build. In doing so they, the New Developer more than likely will not receive permission from The Villages for Golf access via golf carts.

No problem for us, use our golf cart to play golf, use our car to shop. Shop now across 441, but it is a very small store and it is always very crowded. Looking forward to a new big store.

Per the plans, Aldi in Trailwinds Village will be 19,787 sq. ft. I'm not sure if it's "big."

I thought that trail winds is part of the villages?? I heard a Loews is going in there too??

Nope Trailwinds belongs to a different developer....so it's NOT part of The Villages but is adjacent to it. The Morse's wanted to develope that area into homes (I think it was) but Wildwood turned down their proposal.

Glad it's not going to be GC accessible. Think of all that traffic going thru someones neighborhood. Cars will be bad enough.

yea how can anyone do serious shopping in a golf cart. My golf cart is confined to golfing not stores , not restaurants, not town squares not the postal station golfing:D
