All new homes are prewired for Comcast. They also are the only one that broadcasts The Villages TV show and play the WVLG RADIO

We live in Osceola Hills and have Comcast for cable and for high speed internet. There are other companies; new homes in Osceola are prewired for Comcast.

Back north I had Comcast, Dish, Direct TV at different times for cable and always Comcast for high speed internet since no other company provided high speed internet where we lived. It was Comcast or slower DSL over the phone.

I picked Comcast here since I did not want to change our e-mail addresses and thus have to notify all our friends and businesses of new ones.

I dealt in person with the customer service people at the Comcast office at Leesburg and had no issues with them. We have not lost our cable or internet since we moved here in July. Very happy with what we get. But price is good until the first year contract is up, then it goes up.

I recently had a problem with my Comcast router. The tech I spoke with by phone for 40 minutes could not have been any more helpful. She even called me back to check on the fix. It was later determined to be a faulty router. I elected to exchange it for a new one at the Comcast Customer Service center on 27/441. The rep there was also friendly, and the entire transaction took less than 5 minutes. I read negative customer service comments about Comcast, but my dealings with them have been 100% positive.

We move into our new house in two is in Occeola Hills. I called the Comcast 1-800 number and was told there was no Comcast in my neighborhood and would be to expensive to put it in. I don't get it. Who else can I call???
