Golf cart Explosion
 

On the not to be named source-there is a picture of a golf cart fire--it is obvious one of the golf cart batteries on an all electric cart shorted & blew out

How do i know- half of the battery is gone-word to the wise ,inspect your battery connections, also if you are using too much distilled water- your batteries are gassing too much & they are in need of replacement

I served aboard diesel electric submarines as well as boomers--probably forgot more about batteries than most people know--ICC(SS) USNR -retired

I agree with the above comments, I had a car battery blowup in my face when the 'trickle charger' that was connected to it had failed. I was not aware of the failure, and when it went to start the car (using a cheater switch), the battery blew when trying to deliver starting current. I was very lucky, no permanent damage to me or the car. Be careful with these batteries.
