Whirlpool appliances

Is anyone else having issues with their appliances? We just moved in to our new house and are have problems with 3 of our 5 whirlpool appliances. The wall oven sounds like a wind tunnel and can be heard from the bedrooms. The exhaust fan on the microwave/ vent hood is suppose to have 4 speeds but seems to only have 2 and they are both so loud we can't stand to use them. The refrigerator takes 30 seconds to get 8 ounces of water from the dispenser. I have had fields appliance out twice and they say everything is fine. I should also mention that the dishwasher cycle is over 3 hours.

I think Chatbrat is right. I'm disappointed in mine, too.

My freezer has a small bin that can't be removed for cleaning. The finish on the free-standing range has broken down around the controls, and Whirlpool doesn't warranty cosmetics past 30 days. I hate the thing anyway, so it is not being repaired. I plan to replace it with a Kitchen-Aid induction range, so I can bring a pot of water to the boil in less than 30 minutes.

The dishwasher is not their fault. Water restrictions mean a much longer wash cycle for effective cleaning. I've gotten used to it.

We thought the dishwasher had a long cycle! But, I didn't know about the water restrictions.

What water restrictions? Do you mean water pressure?

No. In 2015, regulations were passed restricting the amount of water that could be used. Appliances need to run longer with less water.

My wife and I have owned eight homes in almost 48 years of marriage. These are the worst appliances we have ever had.

The new energy efficient ones run longer, but actually use less energy and water. If it bothers you, run the one hour wash cycle on the dishwasher

Want to know what brands are made by the same manufacture? You may think your getting better brand but sometimes just rebranded with different name.
