Rose Plantation

Can't wait to try this new addition to the area--if the Rose Plantation does it right--it will fill a niche that needed to be filled in our area for a long time

Please do it right, don't cut corners-there is a restaurant in Mendham,NJ--Sammy's Ye Old Cider Mill--the best steaks & chops and they don't have a sign out front--

Sammy's

Like he said, it's not easy to find. Could it be in N.J.?

It doesn't get any better than Sammy's, not only the steaks and chops but the lobster and oh those sides.

And the cocktails in the basement game room--

Great write up in the paper. I wish them well, the building and grounds look super elegant and I cannot wait to try them. We really need a restaurant of this caliber where you can just relax in beautiful surroundings and enjoy a meal. I think they will do great.

It up to them--if they go cheap like Honest Johns--they won't do well--they better do something unique--enough of the cookie cutter , stuff that passes for fine dining here

Henryk 12-26-2016 01:50 PM

I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to some reviews (Bonny?).

They open Tuesday, but I'll wait it out a few days--grand openings are not generally flawless.

I'll wait for a bit before trying them. I want to see if others say the quality equals the price.
