We got ours from THE ORIGINAL MATTRESS FACTORY, they are next door to the Ace Hardware in Spanish Springs. Very happy with their prices and the product and delivery.

Try and lift one of their king mattresses to make your bed--go to relax in comfort on canal st--check out their air mattresses

Just about any shopping area has a mattress company around here. I never knew so many mattresses were sold.

We did pretty good at City Furniture @ Spanish Springs!

We just purchased a mattress from the Original Mattress Factory.
Since the mattresses are "built" in Orlando, we were able to order extra support around the edges.
Quick delivery!

We got ours at Babette's in Leesburg, just west of the Toyota dealer. Nice, knowledgeable sales lady. Salaried. Not pushy. Fast, courteous delivery and disposal.

(Has there ever been a day when a mattress wasn't on sale?)

Just wait till you try to make a bed with a top of the line flippable mattress in king size from the original mattress factory-you will need an air jack under the mattress or @ 3 people to get a fitted sheet in place--thats why we kept ours for only 1 year-no reason to go to a chiropractor from making a bed its really HEAVY, was close to 300 lbs

We subscribe to Consumer Reports and the February 2017 magazine has an article on mattresses. It shows a $2,000 mattress with a 71 rating and then a $540 Original Mattress Factory mattress with a rating of 70. There is very little difference.

If you don't have a Consumer Report you can read it at the local library.

Mattress "ratings" are useless. The only way to rate them is to sleep on them. If the place you buy from won't take them back or exchange them don't waste your time.

We just threw out a $4000 mistake after less than a year. Check out Casper.com. They let you use it for 3 months.and if you don't like it they pick it up and refund in full no questions asked. FWIW top rated in CR.

Mattress Firm

We purchased a Saatva mattress after doing some shopping at all of the local mattress stores and some research on sleeplikethedead.com and sleepopolis.com. We are 100% satisfied, prices are wonderful and we had no 'getting used to period.' We went with the luxury firm. Highly recommend!

First of all you only want to buy a mattress when they are on sale. Typical is less 40% and sales occur most of the time. Sears has over 20 mattresses on DISPLAY-you can try it out.
We bought one and wife then said it was too hard or too soft or??????? In any case they took it back and WE/ I got the one my wife wanted. The COST for this exchange was only $15 and that included pick up and delivery. The fault was ours. That $15 did not cover the cost for gas let alone the fact that they cannot resell a used mattress.

We also subscribe to consumers report but

You/we need to keep in mind that a primary goal for consumers reports is minimum cost. With a mattress for example the less expensive choices will be one sided. Being able to flip the mattress over will result in longer useful life. It may not be worth the extra cost if you are buying a mattress for a guest bedroom.

It depends on how much you want to spend. For me, the only mattress I will own is a Select Comfort, but they are not cheap. Check them out.
