Silver Sneakers fitness club

Just sign up with United Health and get free membership in Silver Sneakers. I prefer going to The Villages Gym since it is close by in golf cart but would like to try the gyms in Silver Sneakers.
Can anyone recommend which ones in this area to try. The only one that I know is on 466. Where are the others located and what are they like?

Fitness Club Infinity located on 441 in Fruitland Park accepts Silver Sneakers. Ironically, The Villages which requires you to have United Health Care does not participate in the Silver Sneakers program. Go figure. BTY Infinity is a great Gym and located just a block south of 466A and 441.

Anytime Fitness on 466 between Rolling Acres Rd and Lady Lake is a Silver Sneakers participant. Excellent gym but it gets busy. I use another Anytime Fitness location, in Baylee Plaza on 27/441. A little less busy. There is a third location on 301 in one of the strip malls. Haven't tried that one.

I go to the one on 44. About two miles east from the Buena Vista 44 intersection. Never too busy and new.

I go to MVP, but about 5 people I knew there have switched to the Anytime Fitness on 44 mentioned above. It's on the northside of the road between Buena Vista and Morse. These guys didn't take classes, they only came to use the free weights. So for them switching made sense, they save $62 a month since Silver Sneakers is free. They receive a key and I believe they can go there anything. I'm not sure about the security being there late at night by yourself, during the day would probably be crowded.

The key is not included free with Silver Sneakers. It's $35 a year for the key.

We go to the Anytime Fitness on 466 and we didn't have to pay for the Key!

Not being difficult but check that information out again. Maybe something changed. United Healthcare thru The Villages does participate in Silver Sneakers and I'm looking at my new membership card now. Great person to help me at the Anytime Fitness. Slow is the way steady is the course.

The fitness centers located in the Regional Recreation centers (colony, Rohan, etc.) do not participate in the Silver Sneaker programs last time I checked. You have to go outside the "bubble". Infinity in Fruitland Park on 441 is a complete fitness center that does accept Silver Sneakers.

By "The Villages health club," do you mean the gyms in some of the regional rec centers or MVP at Spanish Springs and Brownwood?

According to the Silver Sneakers website, it's the way most people have responded. No to MVP, No to The Villages Health Clubs, Yes to Anything Fitness, Yes to Curves, Yes to Infinity. Here's a link to their website and nearest locations.
