Confused wrong way car driver at Pinellas
 

It's happened to me again. A car driver thoroughly confused crossed the divider at Pinellas gate/Morse and drove north toward us on the cart path...... yikes back in December a wrong way car driver approached us Stillwater. Stay alert, folks

Only in The Villages LOL

The Villages is full of confused drivers, it's the default mode for about 50% of them!

It happens quite a bit, especially this time of year when may people are visiting for the first time.

I'e almost done it a couple of times, but stopped before aI actually entered the cart path.

I use my golf cart most of the time. One day when making a trip in my car that I've a thousand times in my golf cart I started to head toward the golf cart bridge. I stopped about thirty yards before the bridge when I realized what I was doing.I guess I was on automatic pilot.

I can imagine how difficult it is for people that are new to TV or only come here for a month or so.

I see it a lot at the Gilchrist gate. People get directions that say take a right at the gate instead of take a right after the gate.

If I recall there was a project proposed to install posts in the center of the golf cart paths to prevent cars from entering, however it appears this has not been started.

I put a banana in my lunch every day. :D
