Bike Racks

Is there a reason there are no bike racks in any of the town squares?

IMHO, I would think that since bikes aren't allowed to be ridden in the square, there would be no need for them. In addition, the squares can get crowded enough without having the space taken up by bike racks. Bike racks in some of the outlying perimeter parking areas might be one solution but that would be up to The Villages.

I am not sure what you mean by "bikes aren't allowed to be ridden in the square". Are you referring to the roads within the square, for example, the roads that encircle the stages and dancing/viewing areas?

Bikes are certainly allowed on the streets surrounding the squares. They aren't to be ridden on the square itself (they can be walked), but I don't think bike riders even care about that. I know I don't.

Don't know about Brownwood but SS and LSL both have bike racks.
