This takes place in 1996 while Jack Reacher is still an MP.

Quite a good read.

I've read all of the Reacher books. I preorder and when it arrives I can't wait to dive in and I usually finish it in a day or two. Not this one...I found it boring, un-Jack Reacher and hard to keep interested in it. Worst Reacher book by far.
