Havana CC for dancing!!
 
Havana CC has started a 2 night a week entertainment and dancing event. We have been going there for a few weeks now and am loving it to death. Dancing is outside but under the protection of the building, so we've managed to stay dry.

Last night, I met Hank Smith, the events manager and mentioned what a good idea to have dancing there. Its been getting busier and busier every week. The band on Tues nights is wild and crazy and the service was great. I hesitated to post this as I don't want it to get too crowded but I think they can handle it.

BTW, Hank told me that he reads TOTV all day long and knews a lot about all of us. He also reads all my posts about my dogs and birthday wishes, he actually had a copy of my avatar, scary huh... !

Nice guy and they are on the right track to keep up customer excitement. Come join us, we have a whole table of TOTV folks. Tues and Friday nights around 7pm to at least 10pm.

Ohhhhh what fun it is to live in Paradise!!!

Thanks for sharing Kathie. When we were therein October Havana had not opened yet so we are looking forward to experiencing it. We will make a point to come next Tuesday or Friday. Wait! We can go Tiesday and Friday! What was I thinking? :icon_hungry:

Were you there last night? How big a crowd of TOTV'ers comes? What is the time fram for the music?

Hi Carm, yep, we'll be there this Friday too after the TOTV lunch. One big party day !!! Can't wait to meet you. Look for me on the dance floor.

Sorry, RS, I didn't see your question. It depends on who's in town that night, but we usually have about 10 or 12 peeps from TOTV, some singles, some marrieds. We usually gather there around 6:30 to get a good table and we dance from 7:30 to 10 on Tuesday or 11 on Fridays. And, Yes, I was there last night, dancing my fool head off and will be there on Friday as well. Hope to see you there.

Wow! What a great bunch of choices we have now between the 2 squares, KBs, and now Havana. Can't wait to be back.

Kathie- Is this the same "Hank" who used to work for Bourbon St a long time ago? He's a handsome young man with a great smile, and a shaved head - a real sweetheart! If so, I'm sure he'll put the Havana on the right track!

Dunno about his Bourbon St. connection, krash, but you're right about how he looks and he is a REAL sweetheart with a great smile. I have a lot of faith also in his ability to keep Havana on track. So far so good. Come join us on Friday night. Are you his father??? LOL.

I hope to stop by and say Hi Friday. My wife just zipped back to Pa with her cousin from Glembrook. Her mom's 75th birthday. I'm "trying to keep busy"
