Why does it seem that the rest of the world is laughing at us ???

About the only two times we haven't been laughed at were when we saved the world from tyrannical takeover. Who cares what they say or think because THIS too shall pass.

Perhaps it has something to do with leading from behind. Those that are jealous of us, will enjoy seeing us falter.

Hope you don't mean WWII...it was the Russians who "saved the world"...Europe anyway.

I know that the Russians were helpful, but we would have won without them. After all, we did steal the creator of the atom bomb from the Germans.

Yes...of course you ARE right...we would have won anyway IF we were willing to nuke Europe... But as events ultimately unfolded, it was the Russians who gave Germany that final blow that turned the course of the War.

We had no qualms nuking Japan...they're a different species anyway...they're "not us". Truman WANTED to try his new toy, show the world what a big d!ck...sorry...stick we had!
