Disposing of old tv
 

We're new to the Villags and have a small tv that just died. How and where can we dispose of it?

Most people just stick it out on garbage day. If you put it out early enough it might be gone by the time the garbage truck gets there

There's also a "Transfer Station" south of 466 on Rolling Acres Rd. It's only open certain days, Tues and Sat. They take paints, old metal stuff, T-V's computer monitors, etc. We've gone there frequently with questionable items.

Regular garbage truck took my 21".

Yeh... the regular garbage will take them. I've put about 3 TV's out there for the garbage and I think only 1 of them made it to the garbage truck. The others were "misteriously" picked up during the night!
