You're hypocrisy is stunning... Democracy? Really? As the minorities push crap down our throats? Gays...a few % of the population have just about taken over socially. We're FORCED to do a LOT "just for the minorities". Look at affirmative action, quotas, "fair housing laws", welfare...in a DEMOCRACY you wouldn't have ANY of that. Who would vote for welfare the way it is now? Equal to $60,000 a year when you add up all the benefits available to a single mother.

We live in a republic where democracy is the last thing they want. It's the LAST thing YOU want. A few liberals getting what they want isn't democracy.

Thank you. Unfortunately, too many people don't know the difference in republic and democracy and think the terms are interchangeable.

Ancient Greece had a democracy while the Roman empire had a Republic. A Republic is the better choice and the founders had recognized that fact.

Rome fell too...it was diluted when it became an empire...too many non-Romans to keep it all together. Same as it's becoming here...a minority majority is rising fast and when it happens, it's over...just like Greece and Rome.
