What a terrific site!!!!

This site is priceless. I particularly love that each has been photographed in it's original condition rather than copied. I was intriqued with many especially the sloppy joe recipe, a mainstay when I was a kid.

I have bookmarked this. It is wonderful. Thank you so much!!!

How nice! Some of these are a real blast from the past! Reminds me of my mother's recipes - and now my own.

I saved the site so I can go back and check each one out when I have the time.

Thanks Chuck!

That was wonderful reading all the old recipes!! Thanks for sharing it with us. I have kept my Mother's recipes, and have started writing my own and am going to put it all together for my son. I cant wait till I live in TV and will have time to do all nice and fun stuff like that! :pepper2:

Plan Not Exactly Doable, But Good Luck

Jeannie,
Don't count on having all that time once you move here....you'll be so busy doing "stuff" that you wonder how you ever had time to do anything before. I thought that when I retired, I could get done all the things I never had time to do before. Not! We've been here 5 years now and I still don't have everything unpacked, etc. For the life of me, I can't figure out where the time goes. I sit back and wonder how in the world I ever found time to work. Amazing!

Thanks. I just sent the link to my daughter Boomette who has the box with Grandma's recipes in it. She liked the site and asked me if that was a hint from me. She just told me yesterday that although her desk at work makes her appear to be organized, she is a digital hoarder and has many flash drives in her life. So I thought this would be perfect for her.

One of the things that I really liked about the recipes is that you can see which ones had things spilled on them. I always think those are the favorites. Like the sticky pages in the cookbooks. (Maybe you are all neater cooks than I am.)

As usual I agree with you Boomer of Cincinnati. The sloppy pages are the best recipes.........and I too sent the link on to my daughter who although is not a .......dedicated cook, she loves things like this. Isn't the internet wonderful?
