dental implants

Went to a periodontist in Ocala Fl. for evaluation on dental implants. Treatment plant estimate for surgical placement of two implants and bone grafting, $11, 925.00. Does anyone have any idea what they have paid and what the rate of success was?

Does the $7500 include everything (crown etc).

Each person needs different course and degree of treatment, of course, but my husband just had one implant done by Dental Implants of Ocala (Dr. Terry Braun) and it cost $3,200 including crown. Very good, and tooth hasn't fallen out yet

Dental transplants

What ever u do do not use Dr W Fisher on Old Camp Rd in The Villages. He's cheaper. He almost killed me. I landed up in the hospital having 2 emergency surgeries and spending 3 days in the hospital after using him for my transplants

Had a few of these done in two different states. A reputable professional dental practice will charge somewhere between $3500 - $4000 for the implant, abutment and crown - bone grafting will bump up the price. Success rate very high if done correctly.

I had 3 implants done about 6 yrs ago...went to Laural Manor Dental (the dentist there is different now) and along with them had Dr. Caylor (oral surgeon) do mine. Excellant all the way around. I can't remember the exact amount but it may have been as much as you said. I have a total of 14 in my mouth...the others done up north. I'd say have an oral surgeon put them in and not a dentist who does general dentistry and went to some classes. That's just my opinion. I've had excellent experience with all of mine. Started that journey back in 1994 or 95. Could have gone on a world cruise for what's in my mouth. The cost should cover everything but you pay each practice their rate. We put it on a medical credit and paid for it on "time". I forgot to say I too had bone grafts done...sounds worst than it truly is. The procedures and recovery now is different than 20 yrs ago too I might say.

Dr. Braun also works Tuesdays for Dr. Lesh at Southern Trace Dental between Crisper's and Publix. I had nothing special, just a tooth ache about a year ago. I just called them out of the blue, and they fit me in the next day with Dr. Braun. After x-rays they determined the gum was problem and he couldn't save the tooth unless I wanted bone grafts. Dr. Braun did an extraction of the tooth, put in a piece of synthetic bone and stitched the gum, I think it came to about $550. He's really nice and did a great job for me.

We use Marion Dental on 441. I used Dr. Wallace as my prosthetist and Dr. Caylor as oral surgeon. Removal of ALL teeth with 5 lower implants and full upper denture was $22K. I am considering snap on uppers but that's roughly $10K with same 2 docs again. YES.... I will use these two practices again. Both offices were great and efficient. Dr. Wallace and crew are wonderful and talented; to boot. Best of luck.
