parts of the southeast US this afternoon and tonight...

* LOCATIONS...
Central and southern Georgia
Northern and west-central Florida
Central and southern South Carolina

* HAZARDS...
Numerous tornadoes, several intense and long track
Widespread damaging winds, some hurricane force
Scattered large hail

* SUMMARY...
An outbreak of severe thunderstorms, including the risk for
strong tornadoes, and very strong damaging wind gusts, appears
likely late this afternoon through tonight across southern
Georgia into the Carolinas, and much of Florida.

Tornado warning in New Port Richey right now, just got a cell phone alert

A PDS (Particularly Dangerous Situation) Tornado Watch was issued for parts of Marion, Flagler, Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia counties until 10 p.m. Sunday.

A Tornado Warning was issued for Sumter County until 6:15 p.m. Sunday.

Obvious I caught this before you

Sometimes I do think there is a dome around this place. It looked like the approaching storm split and went though Bellview to the north and Leesburg to the south.

No dome, tornado few years ago near Mallory CC and destroyed homes.
