1964 was the first appearance of the Beatles on American television.

Every year on Feb 8 The Beatlemaniacs of The Villages celebrates this event.

This year's event will be at the Canal St Recreation Center beginning at 6:00.

We will have a band made up of several of our musicians play Beatles songs for about an hour and a half.

Then at precisely 8:00 pm, 53 years to the minute will will show the Feb 9, 1964 Ed Sullivan Show in it's entirety including commercials.

Everyone is welcome, You don't have to be a member of our club. There is no admission and you are welcome to bring your own snacks and beverages.

If you haven't seen the Ed Sullivan Show in 50 years you owe it to yourself to come. I promise you will laugh.
