I agree with you on this.

BOTH parties have simply been dragging their feet on the immigration issue.

HOW is the question......bans will help in the temporary but never is a long term solution.

We seem to be caught up in hurting people in lieu of an adult conversation on the subject.

Throwing people out...banning people will never work and will simply make matters worse.

President Trump has a majority and why he did not use that advantage to get passed logical legislation asap instead of a knee jerk reaction is what I do not understand.

Ordering a review of vetting, followed by legislation would lessen the hate we are feeling.

BOTH parties, to your point OP, have dropped the ball.

Its a start in the right direction, give the new Admin time to go to step 2.
