Old Pillows for dog beds
 

We cleaned out our storage unit and have several old bed pillows - good condition but stained covers. Is there a local organization that can use them for dog beds?

I just took some to Paws Animal Hospital by Laurel Manor. They take anything like that and deliver it to Humane Society. I even took a very fluffy mattress cover. They also take pet food for the Humane Society.

I had the same thought, use old pillows for small dog beds.
We were told that it wasn't possible as dogs might pull them apart and ingest the contents.
Doesn't hurt to check again though, please let us know what you find out.

Barefoot - I called Sumter County Humane Society and they do not take old pillows. They cannot take anything that the dogs can chew and ingest. Thank you for the information.
