Urgent Care 441

Has anyone used Urgent Care 441? We had to use it last week and my fiancé had a reaction to a shot they gave her and it seemed that they were not sure what to do. After yelling at nurse to get the doctor( who isn't a doctor but only a PA) he gave her another shot to help with reaction which it did. It was scary. I thought PA's had to have a doctor around to run things by but there was no MD or DO there. Where do you go to get immergent care? Does anyone know a good MD or DO?

In the past we have gone to The Villages Regional Hospital Urgent Care located on the first floor of the hospital. You are close to other doctors and an ER if needed.

Premier Medical has an urgent care on Santa Barbara near the hospital. That's between 441 and El Camino Real. We've been there about 5 times over the past 6 years and they've always had a couple of doctors on duty.

Agree. This practice always has a doctor on duty. We have used them several times always with satisfactory results.

In answer to the OP. I just went to Urgent care 441 the other day. I needed fluids because of repeating nausea. I was well treated by the PA John Santos. Vert satisfied.

We are renters, my husband earlier this week got a Inguinal Hernia and we do not know where to start looking for a Doctor. We need advice. Would like to see someone hear instead of heading home to IA.

Dr. Golkar or Dr. Tammy Luk. Both are good general surgeons. I would try Golkar first. Inguinal hernia repair is a piece of cake. Usually, the hernia does not need to be repaired immediately, so I would not rush home.

:agree: Dr Luk did hubby's gallbladder surgery a couple years ago and was pleasant and very competent.

we took my dad there last week. Were at the PCP and PCP wanted him seen right away. Recommended not TVRH because of long wait times. He had severe neck, back and arm pain. Went to the 441 ER and they tested and determined he had a heart attack. they treated him well and timely. From there we had to wait for ambulance transportation to their partner hospital Ocala Regional.
