EVERYTHING you see on TV is carefully scripted...controlled. "Reality TV...is anything but "reality".

No...that's what "scripted" means...EVERYTHING is pre-written...scripted...even the questions.

It goes way beyond anti-Trumping......the defense, disclaimer, name calling, derogatory, aggravator mode kicks in on ANYTHING or ANYBODY not in perfect alignment with their opinions, beliefs, party, et al.

Most of the crap being spewed over this forum this morning is from GATEWAY PUNDIT, or affiliates of them and Breitbart.

All of these sites are universally, without question, considered either a fake news site or a "spoof" site.

There is a thread today entitled CENSORSHIP...reading that crap is a form of censorship in blocking your brain from the real world.

This is what Trump has done...not in this case, or in any other specific case, but his love affair with Steve Bannon who made his name with extreme conspiracy theories, and folks like the National Enquirer, has spawned a group of people who read this trite and believe it.

They look for a conspiracy each day, many times Trump himself has quoted it because he reads it and has established quite an alternate universe to live in.

Many posters on just get excited with these conspiracies and allow their mind to go wild, without ever touching on reality.

Sort of like living only with soap operas.

It has pretty much ruined this forum, and I pray that this false universe, and use of false facts or alternate facts does not ruin this country.

You cannot even label these sites as "for amusement only". Nothing funny as they have invaded our WH.

Trust me, and that is an expression...I realize the Rubicon's of the forum will jump on that, but trust me, this laziness in getting to the truth WILL have serious effects.

Wrapping yourself in an alternate universe does not make things better in the real world at all. This attack on free honest press is something we have seen before in the world, and it has never worked out well.

Ignoring reality, and giving in to the Bannon (and yes, Trump) fantasy of conspiracies, attack in the countries systems, going after anyone who does not give you what you want will end badly.

Please come back to reality.

You don't get it...there IS NO "truth", from ANY side. Neither the Ds or Rs are telling us the "whole truth".

If you want to talk about living in an alternate universe...believing what you hear/see/read in the media. NOTHING could be farther from the truth than the lies they spew.

I was a deployment officer and a headquarters planner, I KNOW what you people saw on the "news" was fake. It was a politicized propaganda statement, completely devoid of ANY reality.

I KNOW these things first hand. THAT is what made me a cynic. I trust NOTHING in the media, I know TV shows and movies are social engineering tools, I can tell you, you'd be JUST as "informed" if you just turned it off.

Because the ANSWER is scripted too. You've never noticed how politicians change their answers depending on what group they are talking to? How they have these marvelous "off the cuff" responses WITH facts and figures? Because they KNEW what the questions would be.

its called lack of insight, denial, head fakes these are at least three maladies that they have found among progressives. but i must be truthful and tell you that they had a problem gather a significant number to do their analysis because so many of the progressives were hiding in safe spaces and many that they did find were still suffering PSTD from the results of the election
