Moving on Thursday, July 9
 

Well the day is almost here. The moving van loads on Thursday, July 9, and I close on my new home in Bonita on July 13 by mail. I will be driving down with my lovely wife and my boys (my cats), and should arrive by the 14th or 15th to begin our new lives as permanent residents. Can't wait to meet my new neighbors and jump in the pool. :pepper2::2excited:

We are right there with you, Richie...
1) Moving Van picks up our Sarasota house and then we close there on July 9th.
2) Walkthru and Closing for Bonita Village on July 10th.
3) Drive back north for family obligations on the 11th/12th.

Our kitties did not like the long car rides AT ALL (Conn to SC, then a few months later SC to Bonita). Our vet gave them a sedative which really helped. The boys were fairly good, but Mlle. Claudie is very vocal.

We are on Heath Springs, PM me if there is anything we can do.

Welcome to Bonita! We closed there last month and will be transitioning to TV over the next 6 months.

Thank you Jeannie,AG,Gracie,tpop,Champ,Kate and Bob. I'm hope to arrive early Tuesday morning. I don't think my boys are too excited, as Kate knows, but wait until the see the lanai. I think they'll think I had it built just for them. Bob and tpop, I guess I'll see you around the pool soon. Thanks again for the welcome greetings.

Movers dodged the raindrops...
 

Well we got moved in on Friday between raindrops and lightning/thunder claps- Now Bonita homeowners.

Spent one night and got back up north this afternoon; doing what all snowbirds do, planning our nex trip down!:laugh:

There is no thinking about it!!!! Our kitties - especially the lovely Mlle. Claudie -KNOW the lanai was built for them. I am looking at cat trees to put outh there for them.
