Do you know of a GOOD Sechuan restaurant?

My husband and I visited Shu in Hartford recently. It was fantastic!

I'm looking for a real Sechuan restaurant here. Flavorful and spicy, not the watered-down spice.

Any suggestions?

TIA

I, too, love spicy Chinese food, but I don't know of any Sechuan restaurants nearby. You might find something in Orlando. I can recommend Bamboo Bistro in the Target shopping mall, across the street from Jim's Golf. It's Asian Fusion cuisine, not Sechuan, but they have many spicy dishes, and will adjust the heat to your requirements. I've talked to the owner, and she told me that for my taste, I should always order "spicy number 4", which I've done, and the food has always been both flavorful and spicy. The service and ambiance are both very nice.

No, there are no GOOD restaurants near The Villages and there are very few in Florida.

If you want GOOD restaurants you'll have to move back to CT.

Koyame on 441 is Sechuan. Not watered down and great food. Prices are great also. You can dine in or carry out.

Thanks, everyone for the suggestions. I'll try them out.

There is only one authentic one about an hour away in Orlando called Chaun Lu Garden. If you like spicy it's worth the trip.

I agree. I used to live in Merritt Island and went there often
