AAC backtracking on Guest ID changes

The Amenities Authority Committee (AAC) voted 4-2 Wednesday to survey Villages residents on how they feel about the proposed changes to Guest ID policy, which they alread have approved.
Would it not make more sense to live with the new policy for a year and then, if necessary, survey the residents. Or, even less expensive add it to the annual residents survey.
This is their first significant decision and they are trying to confirm if it was the right decision. If a survey of the residents will be conducted on every decision, we need some new members of the AAC.

What changes are they proposing??

I do not think that they are backtracking. The SCCDCC(?) (the south side) nixed the 30 day pass for the in-county relatives portion of the plan and the AAC wants to see how many really want to go to the 30 day plan as opposed to to 365 day plan so they can get the south side to agree.

That is the way I read it.

This is the classic example of today's governments. A poll MUST be taken before ANY decision is made. Heaven forbid if any governing body should make an unpopular decision, no matter if it may be the right decision.
