Anybody catch the President's radio address?

Here is a link to the address.

The most notable quote, talking about the stimulus package is that it “has worked as intended”

WTF!

Nobody seriously thinks jobs are being created, job losses had been declining for a couple of months, but that turned south last month and the unemployment rate has shot up beyond the President's original prediction. The "shovel ready" projects aren't. Florida is thinking about applying for stimulus funds for high speed rail between Orlando and Tampa. Should be lots of jobs there, in about 10 years.

This reminds me a lot of George W Bush telling us the Iraq war was going just swell several months after the initial invasion. It took him another 2 years to get that right, let's hope that Obama can recognize his mistakes a lot sooner.

Please note that he said that it worked as intended. We should be asking what the real intent was.

Mission Accomplished!

By the way, the foreign exchange rate dipped again.
