Our UNITED STATES OF AMERICA FLAG is out front flying today.

As I was putting ours out, was wondering...

- Will there be some folks AFRAID to do the same...in fear others may think they endorse any one President?

If so, that's a real shame.

Ours is out in honor of ALL those that have served us well in that so-tough position.

I fly my 4x6 AMERICAN flag on my lighted 20' pole 24 hours a day. We live in the United States of America; it is one aspect of our freedom of living in this country that allows true Americans to proudly fly OUR flag.

I put up a beautiful flag pole within the first 10 day that we were fortunate enough to move into Country Club Hills. Are we lucky to live in The Villages, are we lucky to live in The United States of America. I think we should be very grateful. I know we are. I don't take our status lightly. We are fortunate as hell.

I was speaking with a 25 years old young man getting ready to deploy tomorrow. Leaving his home and family and beautiful new wife behind to go serve our country. I asked him if he was scared. He told me it was his honor to serve our country that he loves and that he plans to be careful but you never know. He told me that he always took it as a real pain to have to put the bracket and hang the flag on each house we moved to. This soldier loves our country our flag and respects the president that has been elected because his mom and I raised him that way. We respect the person behind that desk also.

Ever since I was a child I have celebrated George Washington's birthday on February 22 and Abraham Lincoln's on February 12. I choose to not condense them down to one day.
