Surgeon General
I know this is a little off-topic for the political forum, but with all the talk about health care and the appointment of Regina Benjamin, I thought I would ask this question: With all the talk about preventive medicine, is it a wise decision to have an over-weight surgeon general?
I know I'll get some flak for bringing this subject up, but my wife and I was listening to the radio yesterday while in the car and the conversation was getting real wild. I personally would have picked someone to lead by example. Obesity is a major problem in USA and it costs Americans billions of dollars in health care costs. |
She seems like a good person. Hopefully she will go on a weight loss plan and take us all with her.

My Dad, a heart attack survivor, quit his first cardiologist because of the MD's smoking. |

I think Regina is a very poor example and she needs to look in the mirror. She does NOT set a fine example .:agree::agree: |
