RV storage
 

Can someone help me with available options and prices to store an RV in or around TV? We have a 33' travel trailer that will need to be stored between trips.

When we first moved here 2 years ago, we stored our RV at the place near Walmart on 466. We were on a wait list at the time for Villages RV STorage, There are 2 places for Villages RV Storage. The one we use is behind the woodworking shop on Rolling Acres. The Security people manage this. They are who you call to get on the wait list. As I remember it is a little less expensive than the private one on 466. Also, the payment is deducted along with your amenity fee, It is very nice. Patrolled often. Need your card (and it has to be activated a special way) to open gate. It is all cement. Forgot what the fee is as it is all rolled into amenity fee.

If you are a resident of The Villages you can call Community Watch and see if they have room in one of the two RV storage lots. I've been on a waiting list since January for our 40 foot motor home and when I last checked I was on the top of page three. I think that's where I was when I got on the list! That being said, Recreation Plantation off of Rt 466 at the east end has a storage facility and I think they charge $38 a month. We plan to store our motor home there when we return in October.

We have our 5th wheel stored at Recreation Plantation. It is $39.25 per month, with no refund for early departure. It is a grass area.

We keep our 40 foot RV at Ft Knox, next to The Daily Sun on Rolling Acres RD. All asphalt secure lot, $60 per month. The rental office is located on 441.

I keep mine at Villages Self Storage in Oxford at the intersection of 301 and 466. Secure facility, around $55/Mo. They are not affiliated with TV.
