New Chapter Starts Today
 

Well all previous life is a pleasant memory and a new one starts today.:mornincoffee:

• Sold the house in Vienna, VA in 8 days

• Packed and moved last week

• Closed on Monday ..money in bank on Tuesday - Very Important!

• Farewell parties Monday and Tuesday

• Drove down to The Villages Wednesday .. arrived this afternoon

• Renting for month of August

• Purchase in the next week or so ...looking for a new Savannah Courtyard Villa - either a Grantham or a Stoneybrook
• So the new chapter starts NOW

BTW is there either a club for George Washington University Alumni or for members of the US Navy who were SeaBees?:wave:

Don't you love it when everything just seems to fall into place - like it was meant to be - hope you love it here as much as we do. Sorry - I don't know about the club question - there are state clubs -

Wow! That Fairfax County housing market must be loosening up quite a bit. I've been hearing only horror stories from my old neighbors and realtor friends up there. Your experience is more like the '04-'05 market. Congrats. & welcome to the neighborhood.

Found out that the discounts on new homes would end tonight .... SO.....
bought a new Grantham in the Villages of Sumpter ... Jacaranda Villas ...new development./.. think that I will be the first to move in on August 17.

Ain't life great .... Cannot wait to get settled again with NO lawn mowing.... and I can spend time on the golf courses and the woodshop doing what I really like...
