a new project
 

our member Maybe made a good suggestion at our Meet and Greet today....we will have a standing opportunity for getting together with others by designating every Wed at six pm as a time to show up at the clock in LSL and look for familiar faces to decide how to spend the evening: music in the square, movie, dinner, walk, etc...it would be a good idea to wear a nametag and give ten minutes either way on the time before leaving the clock :) please spread the word about this and try it out when you have a free wed evening. always nice to meet new singles!! we had quite a large crowd today and i hope each person there made a new acquaintance!

in addition, if you want to have more assurance that someone will be there on wed evenings, either send an email to the group that you plan to show up or post here. please don't wait for me or Katie to plan everything.....you can play nicely amongst yourselves, too! :)

well, Bill's spring picnic was fun and now tomorrow night anyone who wants to meet at the clock, with a name tag if possible, can look for tall, thin, Bill with glasses! 6pm. March 22 Wed.

i must apologize to anyone who may have shown up last evening looking for Bill as he did not go....i hope anyone who did attend found another person to spend the evening with...would love to hear the results! this was a tryout for a regular opportunity to get together when needed.

reminder for every wed eve at six pm, anyone who wants to meet by the clock in LSL try to wear a nametag and look for other members to spend the evening with. no guarantees but we are trying out this project to see if it has good results...please let us know if this is helpful or not.

there were six of us at the clock and apparently one more who was at the wrong clock, unfortunately....the clock is the one at the entrance to the square, opposite the shops, not the one attached to the shops. most of us already had plans for later so we just enjoyed the chat time for about half an hour.
