Moving laundry tub to garage
 

We have a Lantana with the utility sink in the laundry room. Since we rarely use it (but see its purpose for some messy things like cleaning paint brushes), we would prefer to have it in the garage. Has anyone had their utility sink moved to the garage? If so, can you provide approximate costs as well as recommendations regarding who to do it?

I did not have mine moved but had it installed when they built the house. They wanted to put it over next to the water heater, but I had them put it just outside the laundry room door. That way, I can rinse out "stuff" that's a little too dirty for the washer and then just put it into the washer without stringing it all the way across the garage. I also use it there as my "mop bucket" when I do the floors. We used to even give our dogs a bath in it between groomings. It is so handy and I have absolutely no regrets for putting it there.

What a great idea. I could use a little extra room in the Laundry Room (like an additional tall storage cabinet) and the laundry sink would be so much more useful in the garage.
