Colony Ship & Save VS postoffice?

Are they the same price for mailing a box? If not, what is the difference? Thank you..

Can't answer your question but I can say they provide excellent customer service. I like to support small businesses like this.

Of course, it depends on the size and weight of the box.
But, it can be a significant difference. Tried to ship with them a couple times and decided PO was far cheaper.
They are running a business after all and add on for shipping the box.

Take it to the Wildwood post office and then you're guaranteed of not paying more. It's in the shopping center on 301 that has the Ace Hardware and Sav-a Lot Grocery. It's about a ten minute drive from Buena Vista and 466A. In the other direction the Fruitland Park post office is right on 466A on the left side just before CR 25 red light. Either way it's about ten minutes from Hadley.

Just last week I shipped a couple of items, rather large boxes, via Fedex. If anyone needs to do that, go south on Morse past Rohan Rec Ctr turn left on 44 and go about 2 miles. When you pass the gun shop on the right, it's about the next left on Satellite Ct. about a block back from 44. It's an actual Fedex shop, so no overcharging.

Go online to post office, FedEx, UPS, your cost is in print. Then do a drive by to colony. For us a box @ 25 to 30 pounds is about $5 to $7 dollars more @ colony.

Significantly higher. They were going to charge me $19.50 for the same package I shipped with the post office for $6. Highway robbery!

So we should not complain if the USPS looses money?
UPS is charging a market rate with an appropriate profit margin. To make USPS solvent ,massive changes would be required . The Public would not be very understanding with the increases.
