Let Turn signal works when it wants to
 

Recently My 2006 Yamaha's left turn signal has started to work intermittently.
I have running lights..But at times no left turn signal .
I checked the bulb found no broken filaments.
Other issue is and has always been.
My turn signal beeper for right and left works fine.
But when using left turn and applying brakes it would always cut out untill brake was released then start beeping again.. Any ideas what to look for?

Seams to be a short in the turn signal stalk, inside the stalk is the signals and the brake light controls. Not uncommon in this climate.

Is that the control itself ?

Yes, all the signal lights go through the stalk.
