All About Water & Solar
 

I recently had a call from All About Water & Solar in Leesburg. They told me that the 3 year warranty was almost up on my water conditioner. Since I bought a resale home, I didn't purchase this conditioner, it was already installed. I've checked with BBB and this company does not belong. They claim to have an A rating. Does anyone out there know of this company? Before I have them come out, service my unit and buy the extended warranty, I'd like to make sure I'm doing the right thing. Thanks for any info.

All About Water and Solar took over the company that I bought my softener from. Every three years they come out and service the entire unit. They replace the top part with a new one as the washers and gaskets are pretty much worn. They showed me the old and the new. They also check out the unit to make sure it is functioning properly and tell you how to set the timer and everything.

Do not confuse them with All in One Water Services. They called me and I thought they were All About Water and Solar and had them come out and replace the salt tub. Later when All About Water and Solar called for my warranty service, I told them that they were just out here. They were confused. After I told them the story, they told me that this other company has been stealing their business and that they would have replaced the salt tub for free since the system was under warranty. Bummer.

Also, thanks for the headsup on the imposter company. Sorry you were bamboozled by them. Isn't it a shame that we have to be so darn careful?

I am dealing with them and am not happy - hopefully they will resolve the install problems soon because I am at wits end. I would not recommend them. When I did a search using the BBB this is what I got back

If you have the option, I would pick anyone but All About Water and Solar to deal with. They installed our unit in May 2012 when we first moved in our pre-owned home, and we have had nothing but trouble with the company. Last week they finally gave us the warranty and instructions (Seven months after installation, and after numerous phone calls and letters). They will not tell us the model number or if the model is new or used. I could go on and on, but enough said.

I'm not sure why this five year old thread has restarted but it has. A check today with the BBB of Central Florida shows that All About Water & Solar, LLC is rated "F" by them with 15 complaints on file for the past 36 months. The Florida Division of Consumer Services reports they have 9 complaints against the company on file.
