help worry nut????
Help with ?????
I think flordia’s registered land and building deeds ,site plans, house spec are different then new york. In new york, I can go to the town and get all the necessary docuements I need. Is there someone or somewhere I can get these papers from. I was told that if your house has all metal raffters then the house is total metal studs??? (by todd king). I am very confused help please. I am still in new york and want to start doing some home improvement such as floor, cabinets storge, ect. I am becoming a perm 2011. I don't want to go through with improvements, without constent from the town like. In new york it is very difficult to sell without their ok do to building codes on everything. Since this is my last move (I hope so much fun),however don't want to worry about the house. (since i am a worry nut and want everything in order.) thanks for any help:bowdown::::bowdown: |

Bowl,
We were fortunate....there was a complete set of building plans in the kitchen drawers. 2 options for you.... call The Villages home warranty department and see if they will give you a copy of the plans or tell you where they can be obtained. or.... in the Sumter County govt annex building up at 466 and Morse there is a county buildings and permits office. They gave me the official site plan for my house. Not sure what else they have and/or can give you. Any exterior renovation project you have will need to go through the architectural review/community standards process for approval. Some jobs will require a permit. |
TV will not "give" you a set of construction drawings.
They will be most happy to sell you a set for FOR $250.
And for who ever found a set in their kitchen drawer, they were lucky. Some contractor left them there....it doesn't happen very often. btk |

Full set of construction plans were in our house when we purchased it. My neighbors also had copies of their plans. |
